Introducing our brand style guide

Phileo dash

Every time someone visits our website, sees your business card, or receives marketing material from Phileo, they receive a perception of Phileo outside of the content they actually consume. By having consistent branding guidelines, a set of simple rules and restrictions, it becomes possible to communicate a consistent brand identity. Consistency is important in making the Phileo brand recognizable and reliable. It ultimately communicates that your brand takes pride in the details.

Now that we just launched our new corporate campaign Act with Nature we believe the time is right to introduce an updated brand style guide. We want to offer you the tools to quickly and effectively maintain consistency amongst all different communications. Our ambition is to have a consolidated brand image as well as an aligned strategy worldwide. Consistency results from a strict compliance to the guidelines, so we kindly ask you to go through this document to understand our frame of work. Of course, in case of any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

The brand style guide is organized in 11 sections:

🔸 Logotype
🔸 Typography
🔸 Color range
🔸 Pictograms
🔸 Photography
🔸 Ads and construction principles
🔸 Powerpoint Template
🔸 Website
🔸 Product communications
🔸 Stationery
🔸 Email signature

Our brand style guide communicates Phileo’s design standards to each and everyone of us. Having this document to reference for expected standards will make the lives of all of us and our designers, writers, and developers much easier and give them a solid framework to use as a starting point for their work.

Referencing our brand style guide ensures that content distinguishes our brand from our competitors, and is cohesive. This cohesion is important because it helps establish a strong brand voice that resonates with the audience, which is essential for building brand awareness. Over time, that awareness and consistency build trust. And that is what it is all about. Hence the importance of this brand style guide and our request to follow the guidelines to the detail. The only flexibility given is on the content of the documents, the look & feel needs to be uniform around the globe. 🌎

Finally, please note that the brand style guide is available on the Hive. Should you have any question, feel free to reach out to Anthony Van Gucht, Graphic Designer at Phileo by Lesaffre.
