Programa de estresse por calor<\/span><\/h2>\n

O estresse por calor modifica o consumo de ra\u00e7\u00e3o, o comportamento da vaca, os requisitos de manuten\u00e7\u00e3o e processos metab\u00f3licos. Isso tem consequ\u00eancias enormes para a efici\u00eancia alimentar, produ\u00e7\u00e3o de leite, efici\u00eancia reprodutiva e incid\u00eancia de doen\u00e7as.<\/p>\n

A combina\u00e7\u00e3o de temperatura ambiente e umidade (ITU) determina o n\u00edvel de estresse por calor.<\/p>\n

Animais estressados por calor reduzem seu consumo alimentar. Isso \u00e9 presumivelmente uma estrat\u00e9gia de sobreviv\u00eancia, especialmente em ruminantes, pois digerir e processar nutrientes gera calor (isto \u00e9, efeitos t\u00e9rmicos da alimenta\u00e7\u00e3o).
