Por otro lado, esta comprobado que mejorar la fertilidad de las vacas lecheras aumenta el rendimiento de la leche y reduce las tasas de descarte.<\/p>\n

Un an\u00e1lisis econ\u00f3mico de la reproducci\u00f3n de vacas lecheras muestra que la rentabilidad \u00f3ptima se consigue entre 4 y 6 lactancias. El mejoramiento de la fertilidad y la reducci\u00f3n del intervalo entre partos da como resultado una mayor rentabilidad, ya que se reduce el tiempo entre los picos de lactancia. Se incrementa el n\u00famero de nacimientos de terneros al a\u00f1o y disminuyen las tasas de reemplazo.
