El estr\u00e9s por calor modifica el consumo de alimento, el comportamiento de la vaca, los requerimientos de mantenimiento y los procesos metab\u00f3licos. Esto tiene enormes consecuencias en la eficiencia alimenticia, rendimientos de la leche, eficiencia reproductiva e incidencia de enfermedades.<\/p>\n

La combinaci\u00f3n de temperatura ambiente y humedad (ITH) determina el nivel de estr\u00e9s por calor.<\/p>\n

Los animales con estr\u00e9s por calor reducen su consumo de alimento.
