His research focuses on the development of nutritional strategies to improve the efficiency of the rumen microbial fermentation, with special emphasis on the development of the rumen in early life and the modulation through the use of nutritional additives. He then joined Phileo as a microbiology R&#038;D scientist to decipher the mode of action of live yeast on the rumen microbiome through the development of innovative in-vitro model. He further developed his expertise in animal health and nutrition leading Adisseo\u2019s in-vitro platform for more than 6 years, dedicated to the development of feed additive for multi\u2019species application. She has led 4 research projects and participated in 23, including 5 EU-funded initiatives. Dr. Tsiplakou served as Vice-President (2016-2019) and secretariat (2010-2016) of the Nutrition Commission of the European Federation of Animal Production (EAAP). She received the Young Scientist Award from the EAAP in 2017. She has been includeded  in the World\u2019s Top 2% of Scientists at Stanford University ranking for 2022, 2023 and 2024.
